Marie's Bayshore Grove wedding- Makeup & Hair

It was hot outside in July, but Marie remained cool as a cucumber in the luxury of the A/C suite provided for her wedding party at Bayshore Grove in Oswego. It was my first wedding there and it is a makeup artists dream. One wall is a makeup/hair station! Great lighting!
Marie booked Tiffany Dewald for hairstyling and had her add extra hair for that extra WOW factor.Of course we added false lashes as well! Marie and her bridal party had airbrush makeup applied and despite 95 degree heat, looked great til the late hours of the night.

Bridal Photo Shoot - the Dream Team is back!

What do you get when you add a pro airbrush makeup artist(me ), master hairstylist(Tiffany) and pro wedding photographer(Kim)? Alot of creativity awaiting an outlet. We all love our brides and the beautiful images they provide. Well we thought... what if we had creative control for a day? We choose the whole concept with things we loved that are on trend right now. We called in Chelsea Miller & Jackie Nastri to model some amazing dresses provided by Spybaby Boutique in Armory Square.

Jackie has the perfect features to carry a bold lip with a more neutral eye. She has impeccable eye brows that complete the sculpted look. I wish more women would give their eye brows this much attention! Tiffany added red and black feathers in a piece in Jackie's hair to compliment the red lips.
I designed each girl a bridal bouquet with faux flowers and feathers.
Our shoot location was provided by Alexis Cohen. She is the Catering Sales Manager at Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center . It made a beautiful backdrop for our brides.

I also borrowed an amazing peacock feather hairpiece for the shoot. The headpiece is created by local designer Danielle and available at Showoff's Boutique in Armory Square. It was a unique touch to Chelsea's look. Showoff's offers complimenting pieces that look great for bridesmaids. 

 

 

 

 

 

Katie's Wedding day airbrush makeup, Syracuse, NY

So finally Katie's weddng day arrived almost 9 months after our initial consult and engagement photo session. Katie had an early morning call time and to accomodate all of her bridal party in a shorter time period I brought along my assistant, Stephanie. All of the bridal party was airbrushed for that flawless skin look.The bridal party had their hair done at Encore Salon & Day Spa in North Syracuse.

Bridal Portrait

Meghan Thomas is a wedding photographer in Syracuse, NY. She made her decision to book me as her bridal makeup artist after photographing an engagement session I had done the makeup for. She loved what I did on Katie and contacted me to be her wedding day makeup artist.
Our first meeting was for her bridal portrait makeup. Working with a photographer as a bride is ideal. She knew what worked and didn't for photos and the importance of having long wearing products. She let me use my expertise to provide a flawless look with airbrush makeup.

Meghan's wedding day went perfect. She had created a schedule between makeup artist services and hair stylist services. All were done on location at Mirbeau Inn & Spa. It kept the bridal party together and comfortable while waiting for their turn to be made beautiful.

Jennifer's Garden Party Wedding

Jennifer was referred to me by another makeup artist, Kris Kellogg. I am so thankful because Jennifer was a dream to work with. Her wedding took place at her fiance's parents historical home in Baldwinsville, NY. Jennifer lives in Arizona, so she communicated by email her ideas for her wedding look.
I also recommended a hair stylist for her big day, Tiffany Dewald. Tiffany is my "go to" hair stylist when a bride requests a stylist. She does beautiful work as the pictures show.
We all met for the first time the morning of her wedding. Jennifer had seen our portfolios' and knew she was working with professionals. Her choice of photographer was Jonathan from Fly Me To The Moon Photo. An "up & coming" studio, as Jen put it. She had that right! Jonathan captured their day perfectly! Amy's beautiful bridal look

I recommend them to all brides. To all bridal party gals in fact, moms' included! As you can see they make lashes look fabulous in photo's. All of my 2010 brides have worn false lashes!

Vanessa's picture perfect day

Vanessa & Kyle are both work in television in Denver. Getting married 4th of July weekend meant I would meet Vanessa for the fist time on the day of her wedding. She was wonderful to work with and entrusted to just "do my thing".
As I was leaving Vanessa's house I ran into her photographer, Vanessa Finch. This is the 3rd wedding Vanessa & I have ran into each other!

Pam actually worked for me years ago. She found me and asked if I did makeup for weddings. I was excited to help her plan her bridal look.
